A simple guide to standard minibuses

Transport Advisor provides private minibus and coach hire services nationwide throughout the UK. We have a range of vehicle classes available. One of our popular vehicles is the standard minibus. Standard minibuses are designed to get you from A to B they are simple vehicles fitted with seatbelts and fabric seats. Standard minibuses are often used for airport transfers, short journeys around the local area, school trips, and Hen and Stag events.

Standard class minibuses generally have a plain exterior with transparent glass windows. Standard minibuses range in different sizes

Below is an interior seating plan of a Ford Transit 12 seat minibus. Most minibuses follow a similar seating plan this particular vehicle has 11 seats for passengers and 1 seat for the driver in total 12 seats.

Our minibus fleet ranges from vehicle brand to seating capacity. Nationwide our fleet consists of the following brands: Ford, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Vauxhall, Volkswagen.

Below you can see an example of the standard minibus interior. From the picture, you can see that the seats are made from fabric and they are fitted with seatbelts. The vehicle does not hold any other features such as tinted windows, leather reclining seats or cup holders.

When requesting a minibus quotation it is important to state your luggage requirements as most minibuses only have a small boot section at the rear of the vehicle. Minibuses do not have underneath luggage bins. In the event, you exceed storage capacity you may need to request an enclosed trailer which will hook up at the rear of the vehicle. If a trailer is not available you may be able to request a larger minibus and utilise the spare seats as an area to store bags. Storing bags on spare seats must be done safely and not stacked above the headrest height. Luggage must not block the walkway as this may prevent access in the event of an emergency exit.
